Overview

100 years ago, cars ushered in a seismic revolution in transportation — but also created many new problems that we’re still living with today. Today, we’re in the middle of another urban mobility revolution. We have a chance to get things right, but only if we don’t get distracted by new technologies and instead focus instead on what makes great, livable cities.

The Shared Mobility Principles for Livable Cities are a guide for governments, companies and people to find common ground and make decisions that build joyful cities where sustainable and just mobility is the new normal.
